BIG NAME, NO BLANKETS is Ibijerri Theatre Company’s flagship production in 2024 and 2025 – an upbeat, high-voltage rock ’n’ roll theatre show celebrating remote Aboriginal Australia’s phenomenal Warumpi Band and featuring iconic hits “My Island Home” and “Blackfella, Whitefella.”
Before it hit Australia's capital cities, BIG NAME, NO BLANKETS went on a ‘homecoming’ tour to the remote Northern Territory communities of Papunya, Yuendumu, Barunga and Elcho Island (Galuwinku) - the places where the original band members grew up.
Work by Dark Horse involved creating the pitch materials for fundraising to get the homecoming shows on the road.
